Does anybody know where I could get bucket forks for a 7308 loader that do not require welding hooks onto the bucket. I would think it would be possible to just hook them onto the top rounded portion of the bucket but I can't seem to find them. Thanks.

Here are a couple of sources for slip-on loader forks, which may or may not have a fit for your particular loader:

Brandt Manufacturing, Inc. (http://brandtmfg.com/loader.htm)
Coleman Methods, Inc. (http://www.colemanmethods.com/) ....

I purchased a "tooth blade" directly from my New Holland dealer. Mounting only required drilling a hole in each side of the bucket, then slipping the unit over the lip of the bucket and bolting in place. It makes a world of difference when trying move earth. Attaches and removes easily (although a little heavy).

Get in touch with--

"Eileen, Budget Forklift Parts - Sales"

Advisory--
Add on bucket forks seem to run as much or more than a set that attaches to a Skid steer loader plate (ie, you simply take off your bucket and attach the fork set). You might want to consider an SSL adapter from ATI (ATI, New Holland, PA 17557, ph 717-354-8721, ask for Janson or Jack), then you can use any SSL attachment in a flash. The one for the 7108 is less than $500, so 7308 may be about the same. You can of course easily adapt your existing bucket to SSL.

Good luck, sorry I did not see your question sooner.

This board's software irks me. It always leaves out e mail address info if it is in brackets, and totally ignores any formating I do for clarity.

Eileen's address is sales@budgetforklift.com.

Now back to Tractorbynet.

Jim H. your brackets and formatting might look like HTML to the system. Scot, try Arrow, link below. I priced the smallest set at $450 but you do have to do some welding but they are quick attach to the top bar and width adjustable. I would really like to hear from someone who owns a set of these. ....
